In 1950, Smith & Schaefer began its relationship with Thermo Fisher Scientific Hamilton Laboratory Furniture & Fume Hoods, LLC.  As a group we focus strictly on research, testing, and laboratory environments.  We offer products that include traditional steel and wood casework as well as more modern options such as the Max Lab, Max Mobile, Distinction, and Accent lines.  Along with casework, Hamilton also provides a variety of fixtures and accessories as well as numerous options for fume hood requirements.  Our account managers, estimators, engineers and project management staff are all here to help provide the best experience for your project needs. In addition to Thermo Scientific Hamilton Brand Laboratory Casework and Fume Hoods, we also offer Thermo Scientific Laboratory Equipment. Our product offering includes Thermo Biological Safety Cabinets, Barnstead Water Polishers, Thermo Laboratory Refrigerators, Freezers, Ultra Low Freezers, and Anatomical Pathology products.

Our capital equipment sales division also includes small, medium, large and bulk laboratory autoclaves, as well as, medium and bulk “dry heat” sterilizers.  We offer many types of laboratory and pharmaceutical cGMP glassware washers and washer/dryers.  We also carry a full line of large cage washing equipment, including rack washers, tunnel washers, and feeder bottle washing systems.  For procedure areas, we carry necropsy and downdraft equipment, ventilated cabinets, grossing stations, sinks, and mobile equipment.  We also provide large walk-in chemical decontamination rooms, custom growth chambers, temperature/humidity/lighting controlled environmental chambers, stability chambers, testing ovens, lab ovens and incubators.
