OVERVIEW & HISTORY
Smith & Schaefer is an organization with more than 60 years of history. Founded in 1950 by John N. Smith and Harry Schaefer, Smith & Schaefer was formed as a dealer and manufacturer's representative organization. In 2004, the owners sold the company to its employees, thus making Smith & Schaefer an ESOP (employee owned company).
As Employee-Owners, we are dedicated to the sales and servicing of capital goods and products for the Science and Healthcare marketplace. Our firm takes pride in being an integral part of supplying our clients' needs. We work for our clients to help them save time, reduce clutter and aggravations, and help make every aspect of their day a little easier. Because we know, you have work to do.
